The Australian Printing industry has launched an online "Find a scammer" guide with the view to protect the Australian printing Industry from international fraudsters. The guide would provide a database which would contain the names and the e-mail address which are in usage of targeting the printing industry. By using this potent tool the companies which are present in the list can easily find out whether the print quotation message which they have received are from the scam who are present in the list or they do possess some elements of scam. Mr. Joe Kowalewski, Printing industries national communications and technical services manager also added that the list contains almost 100 individual contacts which have been extracted from many scam reports.
Kowalewski also adds that it has been noticed that these fraudsters sign themselves as church minister who represent themselves as charitable institution. General names are also used, they also use business names which sound known to some institutions.
However the cost which would be incurred by the companies incase they are responded to these fake quotations would be astonishing and enormous. Thus the tool has been formulated to solve this problem to a considerable extent.
