Canon announces two inclusions to its Pixma range of printers. The Pixma iP3600 and the iP4600 have similar features with few differences in the iP4600 for high end users. The printers offer 9600x2400dpi and use 1pl Fine print heads for high quality printing. Both the printers when the Canon photo paper is used the combination of the print head and ink generates long lasting prints.
On the whole there are 5 single ink cartridges pigment black, dye black, dye cyan, magenta and yellow and these make more efficient printing when the cartridge is empty.
The speed of both the printers differs as the iP4600 produces 10x15 cm prints in around 20 seconds whereas iP3600 takes almost 41 seconds. The iP4600 also has advanced process media handling with DVD/CD printing and Auto Duplex function for double-sided printing. Both the printers are compatible and you can link them with a phone or a camera via USB for PC less printing.
The printers will be available in the markets from October and are priced at £69.99 for the iP3600 and £89.99 for the iP4600.
